The window motor may be crapping out on you. thats been a symptom ive seen in window motors on their way out

 

mine is actually doing the same thing..same side even. Easy fix?

 

Same here but passenger side is very slow. Not to difficult to replace motor, just a pain to remove door panel.

 

Ha I have the exact same issue. I'll check the window motor then.

 

my passenger window will let down but wont let up....can i manually let it up ? or .....

 

Shoot my pass side does the same thing. I pretty much tracked it down to a crappy motor. Could also be contributed to the steel cable that is in the actual mechanism itself. Taking the door panel off is the only really annoying part, but not too hard at all. I'd try replacing the motor for sure.
