Experiences with Factory Reproductions wheels?

I'll keep it short and sweet - just took delivery on my new 2019 Octane Red Scat Pack, and I'm considering going with wider rear rims to carry up to a 315 width tire, as I've heard these cars have trouble hooking up on launch with the stock 245s or even the 275s mine came with.

I've been searching the forums for people's experiences with the wheels made by Factory Reproductions, and I haven't found a thread addressing their long-term durability.

I'd like to hear from anyone who has been driving on Factory Reproductions wheels for a while.

Good or bad, I'd like to hear about your experiences with their wheels.

Any problems with the wheels getting bent on potholes or other daily driving impacts?

Does anyone know if their wheels are forged?

The roads where I drive in northern Maryland are pretty rough, so I don't want to buy wheels that can't take the occasional pothole impact.

Just trying to get an idea what level of quality their wheels offer.

Hi Hawk. The Factory Reproduction wheels are not forged. They would cost more than ~$250 a wheel if they were.

Thanks - I suspected that was the case, but I'm relatively new to the aftermarket for wheels, and couldn't find information one way or the other on their website.

What size are you looking for? I havent heard of anyone having problems with 20s.

I'm thinking 20"x10.5" which based on my initial research should hold a 315 width.

Looking at these in satin black to match my stock front wheels:

But if they're not forged I'm not sure I'm willing to take a chance on the wheels going out of round on one of the many nasty potholes around here...

I've purchased 2 sets of FR wheels . my brother has a set also.. no issues

Thanks for the input. I'm guessing you've got plenty of potholes and rough roads in Wisconsin, so this is encouraging.

I have a set of FR73s (20 X 9.5) on my Daytona. I've had them about a year or so, and I've had not issues.

Louisiana roads are about the worst I have seen, and I go through a section on the way home from work that is terrible. I bubbled three tires on my Jetta (with the 17' rubber bands) due to the roads. No issues with the Charger.

I have FR 74 satin black on my car, haven't had them too long yet but no problems so far.
I had FR 22" Silverado SS reps on my '05 Tahoe for severalyears before I sold it with no issues as well.
