They are super easy to install...... on some 08s they are prewired so all you have to do is install the assemblly itself, plug them in, take it to the dealer to be activated and your done! Seeing that your a mechanic you will have no problem with this install...... hell if you can throw it up on a lift it will be even easier to do so you dont have to lay on your back!

yeah, i bought the kit and then realized that it was prewired.
all that i would have needed were the fog light buckets and the dash switch and of course the magic dealer reprogram.
the one good thing was, when i wired in the new kit, the prewired harness was all corroded because dodge never protected the ends where the harness plugs into the lights.
:O

Is it the same with the '07 SE? I want to install a set but I don't know if I need to install more than just the fog lights themselves?
The '07 SE isnt't prewired. You will need every piece in the kit. Not the bad of an install. My one issue was screwing in the bulbs in place. On the driver side, there is an obstacle that is a pain to work around.

My 08 is pre wired. Got the housings installed. Changed the switch to enable. Had them enabled. And still no fog lights, I've been reading that maybe the harness is unplugged. But have no clue where the wires actually go without taking everything apart. Any one know where the connection is?
