I went out of town for a few days. I rented a car at Enterprise Car Rental. I get to the counter and after completing the paperwork, the sales person says " I have a Ford Fusion or a Dodge Charger". "Which would you like". In my head I'm giving him the look. The look of fool what do you think. Of course I politely say give me the Charger. To my surprise, it was a HEMI. Needless to say I had a great time. Loved the power of the V8. I like my v6, but now I understand how my HEMI brothers feel with the power under their feet.

The Fusion is a nice car, much better than any other FWD sedan. If the Charger wasn't an option I would take it as a rental pretty easily. We owned a 2012 Fusion and I wish we would of kept it instead of trading it for this shitty ass Jeep Renegade.

But yea, nothing beats a large RWD sedan...even more with that symphony of HEMI noise and torque. I loved my 2014 3.6 V6 Charger but nothing compares to a HEMI.

The Fusion actually plays against the 200 in terms of size. Perfectly fine car if you want, well, a car. If you want an experience, a head turner, affordable power and no compromise performance and liveability...well...you're on the right forum :)

I was actually shopping for a Fusion Sport, but it just wasn't special enough. If that makes sense. It doesn't have the personality of a Charger, and its certainly not as fast and fun to drive. Can't beat the RWD V8.

The '17 Fusion Sport or the older one? Because the new one is plenty fast. AWD, 325bhp 380torque, 0-60 in 5.3s. Yup, its a rocket for a mid-sized sedan. My buddy has this V6 TT in his F150 and it is a nice engine for what it is. Still, glad I have a RWD V8--but if I didn't love me a RWD V8 car that new Fusion Sport would likely be in my driveway.
