I didn't really see much difference in the Dart's Uconnect when I test drove it. But to answer your question, no, not really. Haven't really seen or heard about a graphic update for Chargers.

 

What i did on my car is i found a 2011 chrysler 300 on autotrader.. used that vin number on the updater website.. and i downloaded the 300 software onto my 8.4n in my charger so the theme is now blue instead of red..

you put the file onto a usb stick.. plug into car..then turn car to ACC it will do update process.. and during update process fans will turn on and so forth but it all worked out first try for me


edit... i think the chrysler servers will have a sudden increase of bandwidth lol

Also, man I don't know where you came out with this out of the blue, but people have been seriously scratching their heads since the 11 Chargers first came out to turn that screen blue themed! Reps to you!

Although, I THINK, you would just plug in your own VIN and qualify for the update (well in my case I already know I qualify, but I never bothered with it) and do the exact process over again. So nevermind, I guess I answered my own question lol.

2) Have you noticed ANY changes at all in terms of functionality? Any features missing/not working, etc.?

yea just use vin from your 2011 charger..thanks for the reps.. and no haven't noticed any change in functionality..

I just did the update on mine using a different VIN. I t looks like the VIN #'s have a usage life of how many time you can download the file. Mine said no usable files as well. I unplugged the USB drive, turned off the car and redid the process. Once redone, the files read properly.

what is that? it is a small .exe file. that file is to small to be a radio os update.

 

I'm going to put the files on my web server for direst download, stay tuned for links... This way we don't hose up a VIN.

I have everything downloaded (windows and Mac) but have not tried the update yet. I am a little worried about my lockpick being in the loop.... And I just got everything working right, the last thing I want to do is tear the dag-gum dash apart again to rewire everything.....
