have you owned this car since new?

So I had a car, non-Charger, that did this same thing. It had been in an accident though. But I also parked on a sloped drive and what happened was the rain was pooling in the door jab and then flooding over the door seal and into the car. Seeing that one water make going up to the plastic trim makes me wonder if you have a similar issues. I pulled my trim out then pulled carpet back. then using a hose directed the water while someone was in the car watching fro the water to come in. This will sort of let you know where the water is getting by at. if it is leaking at the door. Same test could be done for the sunroof as well.

Agreed. Sounds like the sunroof drain tube is clogged.

Grab a beer or two and take my shoes off (clean socks are recomended) and open the sun roof, stand on the seats with my upper half sticking out. (do this in the driveway, never on the freeway) and clean the channels and all the areas in the sunroof cavity real good... get all the dead leaves, bugs and homeless people out of there.
With the doors open grab a measuring up or a water bottle (anything you can pour water slowly and controlled with) and pour water through the drain holes while observing the drain points by the doors. (black rubber grommet looking things near the hinges). The water should drain freely. If water doesnt drain out then you have an obstructed drain tube. Get yourself an air compressor and blow some air through the clogged tubes from the bottom up. Dont go all crazy with the PSI, your not trying to inflate the Goodyear Blimp, just trying to blow out whatever you got jammed in there. Do the water test again, if its still not draining try blowing it out from the top down and re-test.

Thanks for the info guys. I took a a look tonight. Both the entrance and exit of the drains were clear so maybe its something loged partway. I didn't get a chance to test with water or air yet. The exit piece appears to be hard plastic around the door hinge. I'm hoping it hasn't become separated under the dash. It doesn't look too pleasant to get to.

Pulling back the carpeting it didn't appear too wet, but you can tell there has been some moisture.

Probably won't know for sure until the weekend if this is the issue or not.

@Goatme Yes, I've had the car since new. Only accident was someone rear ending me at a slow speed.

 

Check the drivers door weatherproofing seals, maybe it came dislodged, or maybe one of the clips that holds the seals on broke away and making a leak in the seal. From what the picture looks like to me, it looks like its coming from halfway up the drivers doorsill. Thats IF its not the roof drain.

 

So I have been having the exact same issue and my leak looks like it's coming from exactly where your leak is coming from.

 

I took to the dealer and they had a leak guy check it out. He checked the drainage tube and they were clear. They plugged a hole they found behind the cow panel. Still leaks. They still have my car, 3 days in. They have no clue. Ill let you know when they figure it out. If you figure it out, please let me know as well.

 

Hey I have a 2011 charger with a similar leak in the front passenger side. When it rains my floor gets soaked . We're you able to fix it

 

My 2020 charger just started doing this today. I am taking it somewhere tomorrow.. I do have a sunroof and I clean it diligently everytime I was my car.. did anyone fine out what it was. My passenger floorboard is soaked. I could see the water coming in.
