Due to the excessive dusty conditions here. I'll be putting my stock intake back on. The 100 degree heat at 5000k elevation has rendered my big bully CAI worthless.
Expect my big bully intake to be in for sale soon. It is a fantastic intake at sea level bar none. Up here in New Mexico it seems that I have lost a lot of low end torque when it's hot because the intake takes in hot air from the engine bay which is probably 10000000 degrees hot ha. I actually can see cold water evaporate instantly on my hood. Def not like NY here ha.
The only problem i see with the stock intake is the accordion style tube between the air box and the air "chamber". Does anyone know how to DIY or buy a smooth silicone pipe for this? It would allow air to flow smoother.
