PCM code

I have a 2012 V6 Dodge charger. My mods are air intake, catch can and unlocked the sports mode from Tazer. I am getting the P2610 code (ECM/PCM Internal Engine Off Timer Performance). The car runs and drives like normal, giving me great gas mileage too. Every 3 or 4 days after I erase the codes the engine light is on again with the same pcm code. Does anyone know what might be causing that? or where should I start my diagnosis?

Engine Off Timer sounds related to the factory remote start system which shuts off the engine 9 minutes after remotely starting the car if not driven.
Might have something to do with the Tazer. Maybe try returning the car to stock, clearing the code and see if it doesn't come back.

With the same scanner that reads the codes.

It's not even close to being that practical.
The PCM compares actual shutdown time to a calculated shutdown time.
The calculated shut down time is based on the amount of shutdown time necessary for the ECT (engine coolant temp) to drop a specific amount after a completely warmed up engine is shut down.
P2610 is logged if the difference between the actual shutdown time and the calculated shut down time is greater than a maximum value (I don't know the max value). The comparison is started once the difference between engine coolant temperature and ambient air temperature is greater than 50°F.
I have no idea what the purpose of this diagnostic is all about. The suggested fix is to check for excessive resistance in the PCM ground and power circuits. I would start by checking the condition of the PCM wiring harness/connectors and check that the PCM is securely fastened in the mounting bracket.
